Transitioning Footwear

This workshop combines the amazing biomechanical knowledge of Natural Podiatrist Andy Bryant, with the indepth practical experience of Pilates Practitioner Rob Carruthers, to learn when to recommend someone changes their footwear, and how Pilates assists someone on that journey towards more minimalist footwear.
Rob Carruthers has been actively exploring all things Pilates for over 12 years. Starting in New Zealand with a degree in Sport Science and Exercise Physiology, he then travelled extensively before landing in Pilates when he arrived in London. He gradually retrained and developed exposure to new ideas, including working through his own footwear transition. He is now a strong advocate for strong, robust feet and works with other foot-focused professionals regularly to support his clients.
Andy Bryant trained as a conventional Podiatrist, before realsing through a yoga practise how little he actually used his feet. Through this experience, he started questioning his knowledge base and changing how he practiced, and is now at the forefront of actively educating the general public on how to reclaim healthy feet. He has a 3 month waitlist for appointments at his clinic in Mount Waverly, in Melbourne.
